  2. Thanks for commenting Kristine, glad I was able to help! Great question, btw. The answer is ‘no need to cancel’. The tour guide will be asking you at the end of your first tour if you have another tour right after your current tour so s/he can organize your transfer to the next tour (most likely it will be the same bus you’re on with the same tour guide).
No need to cancel, since during registration at the airport transit tour booth you’ll be registering for your 3 tours at once so they’ll know there’s someone from the 8-9AM tour who’ll be joining the next 9AM-2PM tour and so on. Just make sure to let them know upfront that you have 3 tours for the day so they can arrange for it and not miss you on the next tours.
    Enjoy your trip, Kristine!

  3. Hi Eileen, the rule of having a departing ticket to the USA within 24 hours is just for the waiving of the tourist visa. If you are a US citizen, you won’t need a visa and you’re free to go through immigration to take a free tour/hotel stay during your 24-hour layover (same process, since you’re leaving in 24 hours anyway). :-) thanks for commenting!

  4. Hi Maria, thanks for commenting! I’m thinking you should be able to enter without any issue, since immigration officer at Seoul ICN only needs to make sure you are departing for the US within 24 hours and that you have VALID travel documents/visa to do so.
Since you have a VALID visa, there should be no problem. However, since pocket visas are a different thing and we want to make sure (I am not an expert on immigration apologies for that LOL), it is best for you to send an email to transittour@airport.kr with a copy of your travel document so they can check and confirm on their end.
Since you will be transiting in Seoul ICN airport anyway (I’m assuming you are), you can try to join the transit tour showing your pocket visa at the immigration counter. and if the immigration officer won’t allow, you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy all the amenities and cultural shows Seoul ICN airport is know for while waiting for your flight. :) You can click here to find out what to do when inside Seoul ICN airport. Thanks Maria, I hope I was able to help. Let me know if you have questions, too.
    Enjoy your trip,
